Quest for an outfit - Ring

Here's DA ring.
It wasn't planned on the "intro" that I'd posted, but... I couldn't resist as soon as I laid my eyes on this rose button. ahahah

This one was very simple:

1. I needed a piece of lace, a ring base, a rose button and thread.

2. First I made a small "cap" with the lace, sewing the bottom part of it.

3. Then I glued the rose over it.

4. I cut another piece of lace and made the same thing as before, but on the contrary, using the back of the lace. The I sew both of then on the wing, using Bonder Glue.

Quest for an outfir - Petticoat

So, the Petticoat was going to be, in my opinion, the hardest piece of this whole outfit!
And I wasn't wrong. Ahaha

I needed:

9 meters of Tule
1 elastic of 52cm
A stripe of 90 x 8cm of white cotton (fabric)
A pack of patience

To make this one I started by getting a 3m x 2,40cm of Tule. I cut it in stripes of 35cm x 2,40cm and sew it all together.

With the scraps of fabric, I cut another stripe of 25 x 150cm and used it as the upper base of the petticoat. Then I frilled the bigger part and sew it together with the upper part, like this:

The poof was still not enough for me, so I decided to buy another 6m of tule and made almost the same thing, but this time I've divided it in three segments.

DSC09910.jpg
omg so much fabric!

So I've made one segment of 3m x 10cm (1 piece)
Another of 2,40 x 20 (9 pieces)
and the lower one of 2,40 x 10cm (15 pieces)

I've frilled then all and put together. Both parts can be seen here:

(Top one was made first and bottom one was made last)

Then I sew both parts together under the white cotton stripe, like this:

(The two segments skirt was put over the three segments)

The I've put the elastic inside the white part. After it I've just sewn the both sides, closing the skirt. And that's how it looks on the mannequin:

And with a skirt over it:

It has a lot of poof, but I guess that will be needed since the skirt I'm planning to make will be VERY heavy...
Now it's time to sew the blouse, another piece that I believe will be hard enough to keep me busy for this whole week.
Wish me luck!

Quest for an Outfit - Pendant 1

Heiya! Here's the guide for the Pendant, the first accessory I've made for my outfit :D

1. I've bought a base with the image of a saint., some rhinestones, a chain and some pearls.
2. I've taken the saint's picture away and printed and put the Virgin Mary's there.
3. Then I've applied Tamiya's enamel to keep it shiny and later glued the rhinestones.
4 and 5. I've got the chain and added the pearls to it. I've opened each part of it, inserted the pearl and closed the link again.
6. Finished product! Added a ribbon and closed the chain ^3^
